Hi @beckers, There isn't an HSA type of account as part of Quicken's menu, so most folks that track their HSA in Quicken use the savings account type (which is what you have now). But since you've indicated that your HSA has investments - and because you cannot hold investments in a Quicken savings account - you may want to set your HSA account up as either a brokerage or an IRA type. None of the cool kids are paying annual fees to their HSA providers anymore. But should you go with Fidelity or Lively? Here's the breakdown of both options. One for Schwab and one for HSA Bank. Fidelity holds both the spending portion (HSA Bank) and the investment portion (Schwab) in the same account rather than 2 accounts like HSA Bank and Schwab did. Schwab took about a calendar week to get their portion to Fidelity, including the cost basis information of the investments. Optum Bank HSA worst institution to call themself a bank. Pending transactions have been authorized by your bank but have not cleared and paid from your account yet. Most banks don't allow transactions to download until the transaction clears the bank. Wanting to move a portion of my funds from HSA Bank to Fidelity as I already have investment accounts with Fidelity and don't want to use multiple different companies for investments if I don't have to. Who is your health savings administrator? My employer uses HSA Bank and they give you the option to either invest through Devenir's Guided Portfolio or through Schwab Health Savings Brokerage Account. HSA Bank requires a $1000 minimum cash balance in order to invest and will charge $2.50/month in order to invest unless you keep a $3000 cash. Deciding between HSAs: HSA Bank or Fidelity A year ago I enrolled in GEHA's HDHP, and along with it, HSA Bank. My plan was to invest every dollar in my HSA but to get around the $1000 cash policy in HSA Bank at the time, I opened an HSA at Fidelity and contributed $2,700 to it from my payroll.
